Aesthetic Design
Vivo Y17 comes with a 6.35 inches display with a waterdrop notch design. The glossy back side looks very premium although it is made of polycarbonate or plastic. Some may still find polycarbonate to be a more preferable material than glass because of its durable nature. However, a metal or a gorilla glass back could be some other more durable options. The overall outlook is still among Vivo Y17’s best advantages.
5000 mAh Battery with 18W Fast Charging
5000 mAh battery should easily provide two days of backup or even more for regular users. Then there is the 18W Dual-Engine fast charging option which should charge the phone much faster than a usual 10W fast charger and also faster than 15W chargers. So, it is an ideal choice for users who need to spend a lot of time with their phone because of work, education and so on.
HD+ Display
Many may except a Full HD+ display for the price and we do agree with that. Display resolution is among the drawbacks of this phone. However, on the bright side, it will allow the battery to give even higher backup since higher display resolution is one of the major reasons that drains the battery faster.
Advanced Camera
Vivo Y17 comes with a triple back camera setup and a 32 MP front camera. The ultrawide mode of the back camera can be especially desirable to many mobile photographers. The overall quality of the back camera is quite satisfactory. 32 MP front camera can also capture good quality shots.
Decent Performance
The performance of Vivo Y17 is decent with the support of 4 GB RAM and MediaTek’s Helio P32 chipset. It should handle everyday tasks, multitasking and normal graphic apps smoothly.
Extended Storage
The phone comes with 128 GB built-in storage or ROM which is a definite advantage of this device as most of the phones around this price comes with a 64 GB ROM. However, there is no memory card slot is this gadget.
