There is Vivo Y91C with almost the same features and at the same price. So, we expected Vivo to at least clarify the purpose of the release of Vivo Y90. Y90 has an 8 MP back camera whereas Y91C has a 13 MP back camera which is, of course, a better one. But Vivo Y90 comes with MediaTek A22 chipset whereas Y91C has a MediaTek P22 chipset. It is not in our knowledge which one performs better. But, we certainly think that there won’t be a huge difference in performance since the RAM remains 2 GB and the OS is also still Android Ore0 v8.1. We expected to see at least Android Pie here.
The build quality looks pretty robust even though it is just another phone with a plastic body. The waterdrop notch on the front suits the device pretty well and the 6.22 inches huge HD+ screen is also something admirable. There is no stylish gradient back in this one. However, very few phones are offering gradient design at this price range so, it is something normal. Some may even prefer the minimalist and simple flat design over shiny, colorful gradient designs.
